Bologna, 18 October 2023. Farma is growing in the United States as part of its expansion plan in markets with the greatest growth potential, set up and implemented by F&P Equity Partners, which took over the majority of Farma in 2021, joining the Poma family, the company’s founder and current minority shareholder.
The company based in Fossatone di Medicina (Bo), one of the world leaders in the design and production of refuelling systems for industrial vehicles, has recently inaugurated its American branch, Farma USA Inc., based in Birmingham (Michigan), near Detroit, in a strategic area both for its proximity to one of the world’s largest production poles in the sector, and for its infrastructure network that makes every North American destination immediately accessible.
The objective of Farma’s wholly-owned US subsidiary is to serve the vast US supply chain of industrial, agricultural, and construction equipment manufacturers more directly and to ensure an aftermarket service at the same level as that provided to European customers.
“To grow in the United States, two requirements are needed: to become a little bit American and to ensure, at the same time, Italian quality, which is highly appreciated and recognised in America,” comments Andrea Poma, President of Farma USA Inc.
Our distributor www.thefuelcapcompany.co.uk is successfully introducing a new range of high quality fuel caps for historic vehicles, codesigned and fully produced in Italy by FARMA. Congratulations to them for the good job!
FARMA receives an important international award for its sustainability choices. The award comes from Walvoil, one of the world’s leading companies in the hydraulic valve and maccatronics sector, which has given FARMA the “ESG Award – Environment 2023” for its Sustainability Report, the first in the company’s history. An award that is all the more welcome and important considering that Walvoil has 250 suppliers worldwide.
